Graham Rennie is the proprietor of Rennie Estate Winery, a premium small-lot producer based on the Beamsville Bench. Working from his Heron Pond Vineyard, he focuses on appassimento-style reds alongside estate-grown Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, crafting wines that reflect both terroir and precision. His philosophy blends low yields, thoughtful innovation, and classic techniques to create structured, age-worthy wines. With over 40 years as an investment professional and entrepreneur, Graham brings a strategic lens to his passion for wine. He is also the founder of Niagara Custom Crush Studio, supporting the growth of independent winemakers across Ontario.

Adam Kern

Adam Kern is a Niagara-based winemaker leading production at The Crush on King, a custom crush facility supporting a diverse range of winemakers and brands. Known for his technical precision and collaborative approach, he guides wines from grape to glass across multiple styles. With deep roots in the Ontario wine industry, Adam brings experience in both small-lot and commercial winemaking, with expertise in fermentation, blending, and cellar operations. He is also the founder of his own label, Kern & Co., reflecting his personal approach to thoughtful, site-driven wines.

Angela Aiello and Ryan Zanette

Angela Aiello is also known as @SuperWineGirl and is an award- winning Sommelier, TV host, entrepreneur and influencer. A Brock University graduate raised on a farm in Lincoln, she built one of Canada’s largest wine clubs, ran a Toronto wine school for over a decade, and has spent 20+ years educating people about wine. Now, she’s bringing her passion home to the Niagara Benchlands, right where she grew up. 

Ryan Zanette is a rare blend of winemaker, wine executive, and strategic mind. Trained at Niagara College and shaped by international harvests spanning England, Germany, and across Canada, he brings a global perspective to winemaking. Equally at home in the cellar and behind a spreadsheet, Ryan pairs technical precision with sharp financial acumen, ensuring every wine is thoughtfully made.

Marco Piccoli and Michael Pohorly

Marco Piccoli is co-founder and winemaker of Unscripted Wine. Born and trained in Italy, he brings an Old World approach to Niagara, focused on balance, restraint, and terroir expression. His small-lot wines are guided by the vineyard, with a philosophy rooted in knowing when to intervene—and when to step back.

Michael Pohorly grew up on a Niagara vineyard, part of a family with over 50 years in grape growing. With a background spanning hockey and a global career in film, his path has been anything but traditional. Unscripted reflects his belief that great wine is crafted with intention—but enjoyed without pretension.

Marlize Beyers

Marlize Beyers is a South African-born, Niagara-based winemaker and the founder of The Long Way Home. With a degree in Viticulture and Oenology from Stellenbosch University, she brings over two decades of global winemaking experience across South Africa, Canada, Europe, and the United States.

Her personal project, The Long Way Home, reflects a deeply personal and global journey, producing small-lot Chardonnay, Riesling, and Pinot Noir that speak to Niagara’s Bench terroir. Marlize’s philosophy is rooted in experience, intuition, and a commitment to making wines that are both expressive and enduring.
